How Does it Work?
It’s so simple. My Home Angel wireless sensors passively monitor a person’s movements around their home, as well as monitoring room temperatures and light levels. Home Angel sensors are easily installed in key locations inside the home using simple, self-adhesive pads. No cameras or microphones are used, ensuring that privacy is protected.
What does it do?
As they go about their daily routine, My Home Angel learns to recognise an individual’s usual behaviour patterns and routines. Additional sensors can be installed to monitor a variety of relevant daily routines and activities which indicate a person’s general well-being, such as opening a fridge door, using a tap, boiling a kettle, opening a medicine cupboard or going to the bathroom etc..
How does it help?
Should there be any unexplained change to a person’s usual daily routine or activities, My Home Angel will automatically send text or email alerts to chosen family, friends or carers, enabling them to check on the person’s well-being and take any necessary action. As well as helping to keep a person safe, My Home Angel can act as a diagnostic tool, helping to identify potential problems before they escalate, allowing pre-emptive intervention.
Angel Light
Angel Light has been designed with the specific intention of reducing the risks of falls. At night, the risks of falling increases significantly (stumbling into furniture, rugs, reaching for light switches etc.). Angel Light will detect when a room is getting dark and if there is any movement. Angel Light’s high power led lamp gently increases the illumination, increasing visibility and thereby reducing the risk of a fall.
In the unlikely event that a fall should occur, My Home Angel can automatically inform loved ones and carers.
Angel Fobs
Individual, unique Angel Fobs can be provided for regular visitors and carers.
When a visitor or carer calls at a person’s home, their Angel Fob will automatically register their arrival and departure times.
As well as helping to keep a track of people coming and going, the Angel Fobs also clearly show that specific carers have visited as scheduled or if they have failed to attend. Should a scheduled carer fail to attend, My Home Angel will automatically send text or email alerts to let family, friends or care professionals know.
Supporting Safety and Security
SMOKE ALARM MONITORING
If a smoke alarm has been activated, Home Angel is able to detect this and automatically send email or text alerts to family, friends or care professionals.
DOOR MONITORING
To improve safety and protection, wireless door monitors can be fitted to the external doors of the home. Should an external door be opened at an unusual time, such as during the night, or if the door is inadvertently left open for longer than usual, an email or text alert will automatically be sent to family, friends or care professionals.
